I am a post-doc research scientist working primarily with Prof. Chris Tinney at the University of New South Wales. I also collaborate with Dr. David O'Brien at the Planetary Science Institute and Dr. Sean Raymond at the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Bordeaux.
My research is focussed on the chemistry of extrasolar planetary systems, primarily on extrasolar terrestrial planets. I'm interested into the role that chemistry plays in determining the nature of any terrestrial planets that are present within the system, especially those that are "exotic" and are so unlike Earth. I'm also interested in the range of chemical compositions present within known planetary host stars.
I have a BSc (Adv.)(Hons. I) (Physics) from the University of Sydney, a Grad. Dip. (Science Communication) from Central Queensland University, an MPA (Policy) from Flinders University and a PhD (Planetary Science) from the University of Arizona.
