General InformationDue to space limitations it is not possible to publish poster papers in the conference proceedings. However the SOC will facilitate the publication of posters papers electronically for authors who wish to make these freely available to others on the web. |
Submission deadlineSubmission deadline: September 1, 2003. This is the same date as for publication of the written proceedings. |

Page LimitsPoster papers must be confined to no more than 6 pages after formatting and must not exceed 5MB in size. This includes all figures. |

Manuscript PreparationOnly pdf-formatted documents will be accepted. Authors should submit their papers completely formatted so that they can be simply downloaded from the conference web page in the same format as they were submitted. |

Manuscript SubmissionYou must submit your paper in pdf format as a single attachment, no larger than 5MB, to an email sent to <iau221@phys.unsw.edu.au>. All figures, tables, captions etc must be included within this single document. Within the body of the email include the title of the paper, the abstract and the name and affiliation of the authors. We will return documents that do not comply with the submission guidelines. These attachments must be files with distinct names. If your name is "J Bloggs", then the paper file must be called "bloggs_j.pdf". The email subject line must contain your first initial and your surname and the word "IAU221" as "J Bloggs IAU221". |

Editorial ReviewThe editors will review all the manuscripts, and may ask you for clarifications and/or revisions, in particular if it does not approach the accepted standards for conference publications. |

WebsiteThe poster papers will be published on the Symposium website, www.phys.unsw.edu.au/iau221. However the editors cannot guarantee that this site will remain permanently active after the conclusion of the Symposium.
