Astrobiology @ UNSW

The possibility of extra-terrestrial life is a fascinating subject involving an astonishing variety of fields. Spectacular scientific advances have made possible the discovery of over 100 extra-solar planets over the past six years which may be "home" to alien life-forms. New and hi-tech equipment used on powerful radio telescopes continually scans the skies on billions of channels to detect that elusive signal which will finally answer the exciting question "Are we alone?"
